2) RFID Devices AIDC Market
Radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, comprises of three parts: an antenna & a transceiver & a transponder. When an antenna transmits a signal, it activates the transponder, which again retransmits data back to the antenna. The data notifies a logic controller about the necessary actions that need to be taken. When magnetizing of these tiny bars takes place, there is a magnetic field created which is detected by Magnetic Stripe Readers. The process of writing on tiny bars is called as fluxreversal.
4) Smart Card Readers AIDC Market
Smart Cards are plastic cards that comes with a size of a credit card having an embedded mircochip. Much more data can be stored on Smart Cards as compared to magnetic stripe cards.
Once smart cards are filled with data, they can be used for telephone calling, e-payments, and other such applications. One can wipe the data in these smart for reusing the smart cards later.
These days, there are smart cards which supports programming thus supporting many other applications.
5) Biometrics AIDC Market
Biometric systems are used to recognize individuals by verifying captured biological data like fingerprints, iris patterns, and also voice recognitions. This verification is done on the against the information saved in the system ,earlier by the individual himself. These systems include reader and scanner, applications which change the biological data to a digitally recognizable format. Using this digital data, match points are checked against each other with the help of database that is used to fetch and compare the biometric data. Optical character Recognition, OCR, is used for recognition of printed/written text characters by a computer. The process of OCR is consists of scan the text character by character, then analyzing these character images and again translating them into a machine readable code(ASCII)
